Disclaimer: Please be aware that standard US style canteens lack a gasket inside the cap and rely purely on friction and threading to keep water inside. If oriented sideways or upside down, they may leak very slowly. The NBC models however do include a gasket, and NBC caps are available to purchase separately to upgrade standard 1 qt. and 2 qt. canteens.
