Description

These belts were mainly produced during the 80's for the Austrian Bundesheer. The Austrians for a long time have copied elements of the US ALICE system and adapted it into their own. These belts work in all the same ways being able to mount ALICE pouches except for their buckles. It takes a bit of practice to open one - leverage pressure in the middle and twist up. The one positive these have over older metal hook versions is they will never come undone by accident!

If you want a solid ALICE style web belt or want to complete the ultimate Austrian collection, grab one of these belts!

Features:

  • Genuine Austrian Army surplus
  • 3 hole design (ALICE compatible)
  • Austrian coat of arms plastic buckle
  • Adjustable length
  • Belt retainer clips

Sizing: Belt measurements are the maximum length these will adjust out to. If you are close to the size limit, we would recommend getting a size up. For more information on sizing, check out our sizing guide.
Width: 5.5cm

    Instructions unclear belt is stuck

All jokes aside great quality belt. Definitely recommend following the instructions. In all my years of cranking handles I’ve never white knuckled harder than with this belt. Pro tip leverage in towards your waist, push IN (towards your left hand), and twist DOWN. Do that all on one motion and the belt will come off.
