Burkina Faso as a country has long been dragged into international & internal conflicts (especially currently) and its military has often used a wide array of gear. We managed to snag some of these packs from one of our French suppliers. The packs themselves have no markings but packaging clues suggest the intended user these were designed for was the Burkina Faso military. Adorned in an unusual arid looking French lizard camo, these are a unique surplus gem indeed!
As for the pack itself - its intended design leaves some questions and as it stands, we seem to be the only ones on the internet with these! The frame seems to try emulate the likes of a ALICE frame, however it does not sit proud enough to stop grating on your back. A possible thought is use for a military radio, but we can't find any sources to prove this. What we will say though, without adding some pads - we would recommend removing the frame and using it as decent day pack. The main compartment can fit a good amount of gear with two side pockets for smaller bits of equipment.
