German sailors and naval personnel alike used to wear these fine trousers with their dress uniform. The pants feature the iconic front flap design as seen by the US Navy, among others, in the 1940's. Underneath the flap are two slash pockets with a third pocket on the back. These are dated around the mid 1990's but the fabric has remained in near new condition.
The pants are made of a gabardine wool blend fabric which is commonly used in suits and formal attire. No belt loops are on the trousers, though the fit can be adjusted with the use of two waist tabs. As with most German Bundeswehr gear, the pants are built to a high standard and accuracy. If you're in need of smart-looking or formal clothing but aren't looking to pay a high price, these German navy trousers are an excellent choice.
