These jackets have it all, durability made to withstand a war, practicality made for efficiency and even a bit of style. I purchased one of these a year and a half ago and it is still just as functional as it was when I first received it in the mail. I have worn mine through snow, rain and dust storms and it still looks just as it did fresh out of the packet. It’s “Flecktarn” camouflage is quite unique and definitely effective in dense woodland environments whilst still not looking to far out of place in even the lightest of scrub. The relatively thick material the jacket is made from seems to be able to take a lot of harsh punishment and even provide moderate warmth to its wearer, water including light rain seems to simply “bead” off the jacket’s surface although larger quantities of liquid will most definitely seep through. The pockets incorporated into the design are plentiful and are easy to access, the snap dome pockets are a favourite of mine as they do not cause a lot of noise and are easy to get open and closed in a hurry. The design also includes two pockets further down that are sealable with zippers and make a great place to warm your hands or simply carry snacks or everyday items. Additionally there is also an internal breast pocket great for storing papers or documents from the elements.
