Description

The former Socialist state of Yugoslavia manufactured much of their own military hardware rather than purely relying on Russian exports. These monocular's were produced by ZRAK some time between the 1960-1990's. Their containers may be a bit crusty on the inside from years of storage, but the optics are still in great condition. These were originally intended for mounting on M57 Anti-Tank launchers and the MG53 tripods. Some of these sights saw limited use in the Yugoslav war.

For optics these are built rock solid - seriously, don't drop them on your feet as they're very heavy! Despite their weight they are relatively compact making them a decent choice for a very affordable range monocular. The optic has 4 x magnification with very low eye relief. It comes with a typical Soviet style rubber eye cup to help block light from obscuring your sight. The monocular has a vertically adjustable range finder and auto focusing which is especially handy for fast moving targets.

The monocular also comes with its own real leather carry case. These might not be practical to mount on small arms but would make a fantastic and cheap spotting sight. At these prices they will not stay around long, get yourself a genuine piece of Yugoslavian history today!

Interesting and exciting piece to own

Originally as a mounted scope for a MG3 or as a anti-tank scope this monocular is a neat piece to own. not very practical for hiking or anything but certainly a cool piece to keep around!
