Description
USGI ERDL 6th Pattern Jungle Fatigue Trousers made from ripstop poplin cotton fabric. Features two rear button secured pockets, two leg cargo pockets, adjustable waist straps, draw cords in the leg cuffs, and a zipper fly.
This example shows two small holes in the lower left leg, heavy fading, and shrinkage from heavy use.
The 6th pattern was the final iteration of the jungle fatigue trousers and was produced in ERDL camouflage with a zipper fly instead of buttons. Manufacture date is 1970, and the pattern was worn during the Vietnam War, including by USMC personnel and some New Zealand and Australian SAS forces in South East Asia.
