Description
USGI 5th Pattern Jungle Fatigue Trousers in Medium Long size. Manufactured in 1967. Constructed from ripstop poplin cotton fabric with button-secured rear pockets and cargo leg pockets. The trousers feature adjustable waist straps and draw cords at the leg cuffs.
The 5th pattern was the first jungle fatigue trouser produced in ripstop fabric. These were worn primarily by US soldiers during the conflict and also saw use by ANZAC forces deployed alongside them, where existing uniforms were unsuitable for tropical conditions.
