I have owned an ex-Dutch Army DPM Kit Bag previously but concerned that the zip was about to go after 10 years consistent use; it's my go-to bag for carrying my clobber when I go bush and country for field work or city visits. As yet, the zip is still operating but bought this kit bag so I would not be without if and when it goes. The kit bag purchased from "Army and Outdoors' arrived in a timely manner to use on a recent trip to Uluru- Kata Tjuka. It was in very good condition and certainly a newer model with the stowable backpack style shoulder straps making it easier to lug around but also the zip allows the use of a padlock for security (not possible in the older one). Great purchase. Highly recommended.
