The Combat Vehicle Crew (CVC) Cold Weather Jacket from 1980 is a rugged military-issued garment designed to keep U.S. armoured vehicle crews warm in harsh conditions. Made from durable, fire-resistant materials with quilted insulation, it offers protection and comfort inside tanks and armoured vehicles. Introduced during the Cold War, the CVC jacket was part of the U.S. Army’s specialised gear for armoured personnel, combining practicality, safety, and durability for extended field use. This example is in very tidy condition with a few loose threads that could be left for character, or trimmed back.
