An opulent but hard worn, rare jacket from the British British Household Cavalry Band. This original British Household Cavalry Band ceremonial coat comes complete with its traditional belt. Crafted in striking deep red velvet with ornate gold detailing, it was once worn during prestigious parades and state occasions. This example shows heavy wear with some repairs, adding to its authenticity and character. The Household Cavalry Band, with origins dating back to the 17th century, is famed for its pageantry and music at royal and national events. A rare collector’s piece.
