Description

The M73 helmet was pressed into service with the Romanian Army in 1973. It is similar in design to its predecessor the M38 with large angled areas for a better chance of ricocheting incoming objects. The helmet is made with good quality steel and lined with a felt like material for a bit of extra padding. The leather inner liner has a strap and buckle so it can be adjusted to better fit your head. A unique touch is the 4 point leather chin strap with a double D-ring to secure it.

A unique bit of history from the communist era of Romania, these are a great addition to any military collection.

Features:

  • Genuine Romanian Army surplus
  • Adjustable 4 point chin strap
  • Adjustable leather liner & head padding

Drum Bun Drum bun!

A 'one-size fits all' piece of Eastern-bloc milsurp. Also includes the hole in the back to clip to a same-era rucksack!
