From the eastern bloc - with bumps! These 'hats' performed the role of a helmet for Soviet tankers. Instead of being hard and getting a headache, these are heavily padded to soften bumping around inside a heavily armoured tank.

They come with built in ear cups to soften external noise and also act as a headphone. Some of these may have had the tank jack harvested and the wiring ends abruptly. A throat microphone straps around your neck below the chin. Please note these comms may or may not work, you would need a eastern-bloc tank to find out! 

Unfortunately they are missing markings, so we cannot date them. These would be perfect for any particular eastern-bloc collectors who know their stuff. Alternatively these would be great for dress up parties, airsoft impressions or really keen four wheel drivers!
