These shovels are what the US military issues to its soldiers to dig in. Its tri-folding design allows it to become really compact and easy to carry. Unfolded you simply screw the lock upward to hold the shovel head firmly in place. Should you need it (or the situation is dire enough) the shovel has a semi-serrated edge incase you need to attempt sawing through branches or the likes. These shovels didn't come with their original covers so we have thrown in some British PLCE covers which these work fine with. Throw one on the side of your pack or web belt today!
