Although these sleeping bags have seen action, they're still up to military quality. US soldiers us this as the base sleeping bag in the Modular Sleep System. This bag also doubles as a fantastic lightweight sleeping bag, for warmer climates. This patrol bag combines with the cold weather and bivy bag, making up a waterproof, extreme weather sleeping system.
Great for anyone sleeping in temperatures down to -1 celsius. Due to its lightweight design, hikers and trampers will find them more pleasant to take outdoors, over heavier sleeping bags. Campers in warmer climates will get their money's worth out of this military grade bag.

very happy with it
I bought one of these after a very uncomfortable night sleeping in a horse float on a frosty night with a very old sleeping bag. This is soooo much better, great size and shape, decent sized zip that's easy to find and use, and the hood fits snuggly around your face. Very glad I bought it. Only used once inside so far, very cosy and needed nothing else. I'm thinking about buying the inner bag to go with it before camping in an open float again!
Slept out in this bag on a thermal mat & under a hotchie/basha for a couple of nights on more than one occasion with the temperature dropping down to 8 degree celus . It was cosy & warm & I had no issue with functionality of the bag . I use a british jungle cram sack to store it in & it compresses down very small to fit in my pack. Great size for people who like to take minimal gear in a day pack for an over-nighter. Cheers
