Kosovo Force,  KFOR, is a NATO (OTAN in French) led peacekeeping force made up of internatonal contingents. The objective is maintaining a safe and secure environment in Kosovo and will be reducing operations, as Kosovo's own security force takes over. KFOR has been in operation since mid 1999 until the present. These large shield shaped patches have a hook & loop back where the backing can be sewn to garments if needed, or removed and adhered to items with the appropriate surface.
