Description
This helmet was issued to the Hungarian Army from 1971-1985. It is the evolution of the previous model known as the M50. The design is similar to the soviet ssh-40 helmet. The four-pad liner and adjustable leather chin strap give a vintage look that will look great in a collection. Use the drawstring on the padding to adjust the fit of the helmet. A steel construction was the only way to ensure maximum protection back in the day so this helmet is solid! Pick one up for your collection or use it for reenactments.

I absolutely love this thing. Shipping time was on point, helmet is great, my one was in used condition which is exactly what i wanted, very comfortable helmet (far more than most helmets), liner was in perfect condition. 100% worth the price

Boy howdy, this arrived in as-new condition. I'm very impressed - this is a lot of helmet for the price. For anyone interested in these things, this is probably the best of the SSH40 family, due to the suspension and harness. I'd honestly say it's better than nearly anything else - easier to wear than a PASGT, more protection than a Mk6, and more comfortable than most steel pots too.
And of course, as always, the customer service from these folks is second to none. Which is nice :)
