Description

Hide your stroopwafels under this This Dutch DPM poncho …but maybe don't take it out into the rain. These ponchos may be busted up but still has that great Dutch DPM on the outside. The waterproof polyurethane coating in this batch is badly flaking/separating and some of the waterproof sealing seam tape is coming away- so don't rely on this poncho to keep anything dry! Some of these may be salvageable with some TLC however if you are the handy type and want a a crack at repurposing - hunting/observing hides, cut it up for foliage or ghillie materials galore!

    Not the Best

    Took a punt that one of these would be as good as the 5 star reviews of tge Value Grade poncho. I was wrong. Significant delamination of the clear film on the underside which I assume provides the waterproofing. A lot of flaking of this film in the hood and attached pouch. Doubt it would provide a dry wearing. The description is accurate but maybe dont rely on the 5 star reviews of the Value grade. Not recommended if you need a waterproof poncho.

    We appreciate you bringing this to our attention. The delamination and flaking you've described doesn't sound like the condition the item should be in, particularly given the importance of the waterproofing layer for this product.

    As this is a Value Grade item, there can be some variation in condition, but what you've experienced sounds like it may be a defect with the particular poncho you received. We'd like to look into this further for you.

    Delamination and Flaking as described

    I took a punt hoping this Value Grade poncho was as good as some of the reviews. Unfortunately it was as described in the Description - delamination and flaking of the clear waterproof layer underneath the camo like the lines of a jigsaw/crazy paving. No simple fix like repair a cut or minor delamination. Doubt it would keep anything dry so in the cupboard until I think of how I can use it. Not recommended as a proper poncho that would keep you or your stuff dry

    Awesome Poncho, very impressed!

    Usual amazing service by Army and Outdoors which keeps me coming back, I have to say the best value and quality Army Surplus in the southern hemisphere!

    This poncho is fantastic quality, even as 'value grade' this will last years. Dutch Surplus is hard wearing and well made and cannot recommend this product enough.

    Rain poncho

    I purchased this poncho as well as a military woobie. I bought the used once. But they arrived and was in extremely good condition. Im praying for rain now because I cant wait to use them.
