Description

British Army pull-overs (or woolly pully from back in the day) were originally designed in WWII and issued to the British SAS and Bomber Command. The design was so popular that the jerseys made their way through the Armed Forces to the British Royal Navy. A smart-looking, deep navy blue jumper that provides warmth and class.

Worn by many military personnel from WWII up until the present day. Truly a timeless and popular design. They're a comfortable rib knit sweater with a snug, yet stretchy fit for good freedom of movement. Made from a high wool content fabric for superior insulation and natural moisture-wicking properties. Durable nylon reinforcements protect the elbows, forearms and shoulder areas that will add years of good hard use to the jersey. A smart choice for winter wear.

These jerseys have small holes and minor repairs. If you don't mind a little repair work, this is one of the truly great bargains you'll find in military surplus.

Features:

  • Genuine British Royal Navy Jersey

New workshop fav

Great value jersey for wearing everyday in winter. The wool blend isn't too rough against the skin so I can wear this with just a t-shirt and not overheat. I got a 112cm which fits great (I'm 175cm x 115kg, 120 chest) not too snug, not too loose. Sleeves are generous with a nice fold over cuff. I like the wear patches on the elbows as this guy's gonna get a hammering in the shop. I can see why the woolly pully's such a hit with the Brits.

Fantastic value

Purchased a 82cm for tall 7 year old with broad shoulders - just perfect for camping and boating and being in the bush in winter. 3 degrees on the river last night and didn't need thermals, pretty darn good. Small hole, easily stitched, best value jumper we've bought for our kids. Teenager very happy with his as well.
