The No. 2 dress shirt is issued under the FAD (Future Army Dress) programme by the British Armed Forces. Officially labeled "SHIRT, MAN'S FAWN Army All Ranks (Long Sleeve)". This long sleeve shirt is also worn with the No. 13 (Temperate Barrack Dress) and No. 14 (Shirt Sleeve Order) uniforms.
Made from a fawn coloured, poly/cotton fabric suitable for temperate climates. In typical military fashion, the shoulders feature epaulettes for displaying rank. Two chest pockets sit on either side of the buttoned front. In the No. 2 and No. 13 dress, the cuffs are buttoned up, unlike the No. 14 dress where the cuffs are un-buttoned and rolled up. A smart pick for covering up in warm weather or if you're putting together a British Army service dress uniform.
