For those somewhat familiar, these officially labeled 'field jacket DPM' have very similar features to the smocks just with a slightly different cut and in rip-stop material! For the uninitiated however, these are what the British Army came out with in the 90s for general field work. A bit heavier than a field shirt and loaded with way more pockets!

The front of the jacket opens up with a heavy duty zip and is protected with a hook & loop storm flap. Inside is a pretty plain affair with both a waist cord and bottom cord to help give a better shape as well as form insulation. The outside is where the real action is - 4 very generous sized waist & chest pockets with Canadian style buttons (easy to feel/grab in the dark). Beneath the chest pockets are 2 semi-hidden chest pockets, great for maps, keys, phones, valuables - you name it.

A brilliant field jacket that has a great balance of functionality, weight & robustness. Pound some pavement on those cooler months, don one on a hunt in the bush or any of your other tactical missions!

CT1A JACKET DPM FIELD

If your looking for a garment thats a bit heavier quality fabric than a field shirt that will block the wind out while it's blowing a gale, then this jacket is for you. The two I got are great quality. Also a great collector piece for all you milsurp collector nerds like me. Seriously good value :)

Remarkably good condition

Received my jacket in a remarkably good condition except for a large L shaped tear on the right sleeve above cuff. It cost me $15 to repair at the very cheap local clothing alterations shop. Combined with the shipping cost of $6 the end total was $40.90.
