Description

Genuine British Army MVP gaiters. British Army equivalent of Gore-Tex, known as MVP (Moisture Vapour Permeable). These gaiters close with a full length side zip, hook & loop fastening and snap domes to the top and bottom. Draw cord seal to the top and the gaiters latch onto your boot laces via two hooks, conforming to the ankle with an elastic, ruched area.

In two different styles, the Hook Front version features a double draw cord seal to the top of the gaiter with an extra upper collar (pictures 1-4). The Hook Front with Wire version doesn't have this upper collar but has rubberised strapping + underfoot wire to really keep these gaiters from riding up (pictures 5 & 6). Occasionally we receive a hybrid pair, without wire or upper collar.

All with the same durable exteriors, these are great for bashing bush (especially damned gorse), keeping grit out of your boots and adding that extra layer of brilliant DPM goodness.

Features:

  • Genuine British Army surplus
  • Side zip + hook & loop for easy fitting
  • Drawstring top
  • Two hooks to front for gripping boot laces
  • Rugged exterior fabric
  • MVP breathable internal barrier

Great Gaiters

I knew that the MVP material works great but seeing it in action was great. It rained the day after I received them so I tested them out walking through wet grass. The gaiter gives me full coverage up to the knee and everything that was covered was dry underneath. Gonna order another pair as a replacement for the old worn out set that my dad has.

Top quality

Was looking at brand name gaiters for ridiculous prices and then found these, was a bit unsure about them being issued. When they arrived I wouldn't have known that they hadn't come straight from the factory. The quality is brilliant and the simple design is perfect for scrub bashing in all weather. The MVP work just as well as any brand name stuff I've used in the past and the cord that goes around the sole is still standing up well despite rough use. Very nice not to have to take the boots off for creek crossings any more. So good bought a pair for family.

Wow! Such good quality

Excellent designed gaiter and very hard wearing. High quality and great price, I’m not why I would ever pay over$100 for a gaiter when you can get these for $40! So glad I got them.

Bomb Proof

Was initially a little hesitant buying a set of these given they were used.

However as soon as they arrived I could see they were absolutely excellent quality and very, very well made (I doubt mine had been used or worn at all as they appeared brand new).

Aside from this they are hands down the best gaiters I've owned or even seen before. SUPER durable, stopping gorse and blackberry without any issues what so ever. Are fully waterproof through wet grass, scrub and bush along with river crossings. Unless of course the water is up over your knees and enters via the top.

I rate these 10/10 without hesitation! In my opinion they're better than any commercial name brands on the market, and i really push my gear when in the bush.

Couldn't be more impressed with them!
