An Austrian Army rain jacket with a waterproof and breathable membrane. Some are Gore-Tex® and some are the European equivalent, Sympatex®. Both are high performing fabrics used in wet weather clothing. This raincoat features quite a modern-looking and civilian friendly cut, dated around the mid 2000's.

Built from a 2 layer waterproof membrane with a polyamide shell. The hood can be rolled back into a collar or vice versa. Drawstrings around the waist and hips can be tightened to improve the fit and maximise protection from the elements. For storage, the jacket provides two waist pockets with hook & loop closures. Some jackets may have hook & loop tabs on the chest and sleeves where patches once were. This jacket has a solid military build which will suit your civilian wet weather adventures.

Condition: Used/Very Good - Item has clearly had some use. These jackets have not been tested and we cannot vouch for the water resistance. You may want to revitalize the membrane with a wash-in solution. There may be marks and signs of wear, but still lot's of life left.
