Description
A genuine Cold War era bread bag from the Polish Army. Used by soldiers to store rations and cooking equipment. Two adjustable rear straps allow the satchel to be attached to a belt. There is also a top handle and D-rings for shoulder strap attachment. Though the shoulder strap is missing it could easily be replaced with a strap from another bag or other make-shift solution.
Internally, the bag features a divided main compartment with four snap dome pockets and two pockets on the front - perfect for organizing equipment, small tools or modern day gadgets. Front straps and tabs secures the top flap over the main compartment. Made from canvas with metal tabs and snap domes. A vintage piece that will suit the trendy folk or will fit nicely into a collection.

Absolutley love this little bag. The segmentation in the main pocket works great for keeping somehting like a Pathfinder nesting cup/canteen seperate from the daily stuff you may be carrying. Has several internal pockets with button closures. they easily fit things like folding knives and multitools.
I have been using it as my round-town EDC bag.
The strap is a little thin if you get some weight in it, but that's an easy fix and no fault of the bag.
Mine had zero marks or blemishes. Looked like it had been pulled straight off production line shelf and sent out.
10/10 recommend as a cool little 9-10lt EDC or Bushcraft bag.
The material feels like it is coated in some kind of waterproofing. It's certainly canvas, but has a plasticy layer over it that makes it more rigid and waterproof.

A great bag for my every day carry and also a great bushcraft haversack. A well made versatile bag that you’ll be surprised how much you can pack into it for every day use and the bush. I made sure to visit the Auckland store the other week whilst travelling on business from Perth. This Polish Army bag from the early 80’s was on my shopping list and I’m glad I got one (in fact two, one stays in the 4wd). One of the best pieces from the Warsaw Pact era to add to your bushcraft kit. Attach a leather shoulder strap and fill it with a canteen, mess tin, alcohol burner and dehydrated meals. Love the fabric, the quality and its provenance. Keep up the good work Team, your army surplus sourcing is second to none. Cheers, Rafski
