Description

*Note* These don't include test cables and have not been tested so come with NO guarantees and sold as a non-working collectors pieces. However, some of these still work or may just need a bit of TLC and are in otherwise good condition

These phones are what the National Volks Volksarmee (NVA) used during the Cold War period pretty much right up until their nations downfall. With the right cable you can plug a couple of these phones up and have a secure phone call (unless someone wire taps you!). The unit even has 3 handset plugs so you can have 3 calls going with all your girlfriends! The phone runs on AA batteries which is pretty handy - they all drop into a red plastic shell that has a large rubber ring lid placed on top to stop water coming in. You use a hand crank to call your comrades up and the best bit is the completely non NATO phenetic alphabet on top of the case.

With the right amount of nerd and resourcefulness, you can setup your own private Stasi network! Or at the least, a very cool collectors item that won't be around forever!
