Description
From the eastern bloc - with bumps! These 'hats' performed the role of a helmet for Soviet tankers. Instead of being hard and getting a headache, these are heavily padded to soften bumping around inside a heavily armoured tank. This particular model has a wool lining both for extra warmth and comfort during those colder winter months. They come with built in ear cups to soften external noise and also act as a headphone. A throat microphone straps around your neck below the chin. Please note these comms may or may not work, you would need a eastern-bloc tank to find out!
Unfortunately they are missing markings, so we cannot date them. These would be perfect for any particular eastern-bloc collectors who know their stuff. Alternatively these would be great for dress up parties, airsoft impressions or really keen four wheel drivers!

Sizing: Most of these have no markings remaining. They vary from 48-59 approx. These will be sold at random as a collectors piece, email us if you want a specific size and we will try to accommodate you.
