The Romanian Army adopted the 'Fleck' pattern in 1994 and implemented it on these M93 parkas. Surprisingly prior to its issue and afterwards, Romania has adopted a lot of camouflages. This is great for us surplus lovers as that means many have been produced with little usage!
Made from a thick cotton blend these are roughly on par with other contemporary European parkas. The main feature for these by far is the removable inner liner. These can simply be buttoned on/off at will when things are getting too warm or cold. If things are getting a bit wet these also have a hood tucked away in the collar (the liner does not run up into the hood). To keep your hands warm there are two cozy slash pockets in the waist as well as two buttoned chest pockets. The bottom of the parka and the waist have full length cord adjustment so you can get a better fit and trap your body heat easier.
Overall these are a sturdy military jacket with a good amount of adaptability for different weather environments. Suited for hunting, airsofters or everyday wear.Features:

- 2 x Vertical chest pockets (dual button opening)

I got this jacket for the great pattern. The finish on these is not as good as German, Austrian or Czech- a bit rushed in the manufacture but still well made, definitely solid construction. The liner is quite thick and limits shoulder movement, I actually removed the liner and fitted a German parka liner and fitted this liner to a Serbian parka- that works well.Nice long coat- just need a larger size than normal if you want a lot of arm and shoulder movement
