Description

In the early 1990's the Italian Army tried their hand at a camouflage pattern specifically designed for desert environments. They came up with this mimetico deserto which saw heavy use in Somalia. These are genuine issue Italian combat shirts made in the early 2000's.

Constructed from a heavyweight cotton twill with a button-up front. The shirt features an "Italia" crest patch on the left sleeve. There are also hook & loop patches on the chest for name and rank attachment. For storage, the shirt provides pockets on either sleeve and one interior pocket. A stand-out shirt to have in any military collection. Or try out something a little bit different on the airsoft/paintball field.

Features:

  • Genuine Italian Army surplus
  • Pockets on either sleeve with hook & loop closures
  • One interior pocket
  • Button-up front
  • Adjustable button cuffs
  • Italian crest patch
  • Hook & loop pads for name and rank attachment

Great Uniform

I ordered one of these shirts along with the pants for my collection, and i'm very happy with them. I ordered large for both the pants and shirt (which is the smallest size they have in stock right now.) and they fit me pretty well. Just like it says in the description these are brand new. the camo pattern is quite unique, but I imagine it would work well. It came with a velcro Italia patch which you can take off and velcro onto other things if wand which is really cool. Definitely recommend.
