These German made rucksacks are a reproduction of the Bundeswehr's (German Army) alpine troops original. Made from cotton canvas and sporting leather leather straps all over these have a more old school look. While still a rugged rucksack perfectly suited for the outdoors, these would also be great for everyday wear with plenty of accessible capacity options.
The main feature of this pack, bar its vintage looks, is its flap accessible main compartment. Just undo the dual buckles and leather straps. With 30 litres of carrying capacity, there is enough room for your lunch, a jersey or two and any stationary you may need. This compartment also has a rear back pouch which can fit any valuables like notebooks. Once you are loaded up just pull on the dual draw cords to reduce the size down and secure the main flap. Each side of the rucksack is flanked by a pouch which can easily fit most water bottles (and has a PVC lining to keep your main compartment dry from any leaks). Equipped with canvas & leather buckle adjustable shoulder straps, you can find the right fit for you easily.
