Description

*Note* Not all of these have been tested so come with NO guarantees and sold as a non-working collectors piece. However, some of these still work or may just need a bit of TLC and are in otherwise good condition

These field telephones were the replacement of the war time versions for the West German Army in the 1950's. A product of their time, the casing is made from bakelite - for any youngsters unaware, is basically a pre-plastic material. Although well phased out as a mainstay material, most of these field telephones were produced during the 1980's! The OB/ZB translates for local operation and with the appropriate accessories it could be integrated into the telephone exchange at the time. The phone is simple - plug in 2 D-cell batteries, grab another field telephone and plug in a connecting cable and use the hand crank to call. Simple as that, with an old school ring you can pick up the handset and use the push to talk button on the grip to transmit.

A unique unit, these are a fantastic collectors item and won't last long!
