Bar the colour, these pouches are very similar to the regular DPM Army versions. What the original intent was with the colour choice is anyone's guess, but we suspect a limited run was made for the use of distinguishing OPFOR during training.
The main functional difference is the lack of 'Spanish fly buckle' - they have chosen a quick release clip instead. Like the regular DPM versions these have the additional fold away hook & loop tab for the cover. Internally the pouch has a water resistant lining and fold away divider should you wish to stow a mess tin & hexamine cooker in addition to your bottle. With the standard PLCE attachment system, add one of these to your British webbing system or add one to the collection!
