Description
These boots were designed with reducing weight and keeping agility in mind for British troops on patrol. The British Army's specifications for a patrol boot are 'medium to low combat threat with light patrol pack.' The Bates patrol boot has no metal parts - all the eyelets and hooks are made from durable plastic. Perfect for hassle free boarding at airports and reducing the boots weight (approximately 1.3kg respectively compared to the British Defenders at 1.6kg or Haix boots at 1.8kg). Equipped with full grain leather outer lining these will keep your feet adequately protected from scrapes and knocks. The tongue and ankle areas are made from 1680 denier nylon and have a lightly padded internal lining. The collar of the boot is thickly padded with a good amount of support. As well as having anti-static and oil resistant properties, the sole is highly flexible making it well suited to negotiating awkwardly shaped terrain.
