Description

*Note* Paint colour may vary widely from lighter to darker green hues

Very similar in design to the Italian M33 helmet, Bulgaria adopted the M51/72 series of helmets to replace the older German styled M36. Most of these M72's were made during the late 1980's just prior to the fall of the Soviet Union.

The helmet consists of a hard steel shell with a leather yoke secured by a steel band that is joined by rivets (these rivets also help vent the helmet). Equipped with a buckle adjustable leather chin strap. A great collectable piece of Soviet era history from behind the iron curtain!

Features:

  • Genuine Bulgarian Army surplus
  • Adjustable chin strap
  • Adjustable leather liner
  • Rivets for breathability

decent helmet, I would say the liner doesnt exacty fit properly or comfortably compared to other designs such as the Yugoslav M59/85, good for collection or airsoft etc.
