Description

The original Swiss military wool blankets were hand crafted from wool and kept many soldiers warm (or at least alive) from the end of the 19th century through to the 1960's. Each blanket was made with care and featured the Swiss cross alongside the initials of the craftsman and the year.

Unfortunately the Swiss Army stocks ran out of these years ago so instead we have these reproductions! The weave and markings are more mass produced compared to the originals but still have some of that unique Swiss style. Made from a wool blend these will keep you warm on those cold winter nights.

A stylish must have for camping, bushcraft, or for emergencies.

Features:

  • Thick, heavy weight wool blend fabric
  • Swiss cross
  • Stitched edges

Awesome

Got a couple of these, but unlike my soft-skinned Auzzie counterpart, find them surprisingly soft and gentle on bare skin, of course, a cotton sheet certainly fancies up the experience, the only rectifiable disappointment, on return to buy a couple more for the Clan they are out of stock, so don't hang about when you see them restock, cause they fly off the shelves faster than A Quilton 3 ply 36 Pack

This really keeps me warm. Highly recommend

For weeks I've been freezing my ass off during this Victorian winter, then I got this blanket to toss over myself. I no longer feel like I'm sleeping in an Antarctica research station. For context I live just outside of Melbourne with only a fireplace that burns out during the early mornings.

Like the majority of the stuff I get from this site its worth the money.
I'd suggest having something softer under the blanket as its kindof rough for my soft 21st century skin (which I assume is why they mix the wool in other blankets with other fibers) but I guess if you want to Larp as an inmate in Treblinka this will keep you alive in a cold spot.
